The Eseriat were a hominid species native to either the Alpha or Beta Quadrant. They had craggy-features with gray skin, gray hair, and gray eyes (even the "whites"). They also had a mellow drawl to their voice. A male Eseriat named Mahásë served on board the USS Enterprise as a communications officer. (TOS novel: The Wounded Sky)
