Paul Lally appeared in two roles in Coronation Street: in May 1975 he played the part of Stuart Bellshaw, an oil rig driller out on the town at the Gatsby Club with his colleague Maurice Gordon. He then played the role of Doctor Crawford who appeared in July and December 1980 and returned in October 1989. He also appeared in other Granada series such as Crown Court, Send in the Girls, Strangers and Children's Ward.
