Ray Fanning is a former NASCAR driver from Baltimore, MD. He competed in two Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning one top-ten. Fanning started off in 1958, competing at Richmond. Starting 19th in the field, Fanning fell nearly fifty laps down but still drove to a solid 10th place finish. Fanning was unfortunately unable to better that in 1959, competing at Reading. Starting positions in the field of twenty-five are unknown, but Fanning's run fell victim to overheating woes past halfway. He finished 17th.
