- Exon lived his early life on a nameless planet in an uncharted region of space. From his childhood he fought as a member of a planetary resistance force that sought to keep the planet free from a former imperial turned warlord known simply as "Stretch". Exon made a name for himself during this time due in large part to his flying prowess and his uncanny ability to get into and out of tight situations without getting himself captured or killed. Arti, the woman who raised Ex, was also the leader of the resistance. She regularly sent Ex on missions to gather intel or supplies. She sent him on his last mission where he discovered a message she had left stating that the resistance was going be overrun and that he should flee to Yavin VIII. Exon knew nothing of the Jedi on Yavin or of his own
