Polly Ingalls is the only daughter and middle child of Laura and Lansford Ingalls. She has two brothers, Peter (older) and Charles (younger). She is pretty, with straight brown hair and brown eyes. The Ingalls and the Quiners have a big family. Charles Ingalls married Caroline Quiner, Charles sister Polly married Carolines brother Henry. In Lauras books she talks about Uncle Henry and Aunt Polly and cousins coming over so Henry could help Pa with the oats, she says that Polly and Henrys eldest child Charley is a big boy who is going on 11 years old.
