Developed in 22 ABY, the 3WD-5 heavy defender droid soon became one of the Eniam Army's primary war droids and weapons platforms. They were towering, massive behemoths, 6.31 meters tall and 5.29 meters wide with legs spread in standing position. Their bodies were pentagonal, and were half a meter tall and about 3 meters long and wide. The rear tip had one tail cannon, and the flat front surface bore their sensors and two blaster cannons, as well as a central launcher tube for a nose. The launcher tube could be equipped with missiles or grenades of varying kinds, most often concussion missiles and gas grenades. These weapons could not rotate but could pitch up and down.
