Shagetsu (遮蔽月, Shielding Moon) is the spirit of Kusaka Kori's Zanpakutō that is manifested whenever he consults with his master, when Kusaka underwent his Bankai training and whenever Kusaka undergoes Jinzen. Once every two weeks, Kusaka and Shagetsu meet in their Inner World and have a training match.
