Fiona Mallender is the daughter of Tony Cairns' army friend Tommy. She blamed Tony for her father's death and in revenge, kidnapped his son Will. Fiona leaves Will to die in a regularly filled grain silo. Tony and Becky arrive in time and Will is rescued. After Will is rescued, Fiona comes to the Cairns' house and Tony explains to her how her father was killed.
