Anush Arshakyan, known mononymously as Anush, performed in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 with her younger sister Inga, performing the song Jan Jan, which inspires the Armenian dance of Nor Par. Many think the two are twins, but she was born just a year before Inga. Like Inga, she also graduated from S. Aslamazyan music school, but in piano instead. In 1994, Anush participated in the Sonorous Voices competition and won. She also started promoting herself as a songwriter/composer.
