Tau was the leader of a group of pirates who stole USS Voyager's main computer processor, a holographic mobile emitter, and other items right through Voyager's shielding in 2374 using translocator technology. Tau was played by actor John Vargas. His costume was later sold off on the It's A Wrap! sale and auction on eBay. [1]
