Charles F. Humphrey (Jr.) (August 11, 1876 - January 22, 1968) was a career United States Army officer who served for over 40 years during the first half of the 20th century, retiring as a Brigadier General in 1940 one year before the entry of the United States of America into World War II. In 1940, after nearly 42 years in uniform, Humphrey retired but was not called back during World War II as he was at this point over 65 years old. He died in 1968 at Walter Reed Medical Center.
