In October of 2195, Matriarch Preyasa was on her way to a political conference with Krogan clan leaders at Ventura when her private cruiser was attacked by unknown forces. The cruiser was destroyed long before any help could arrive to save the ship. Before the news of her death was let out, an investigation by the Citadel Council began. Originally, the Council thought that the Krogan were behind the attack, however, through in depth investigation, the Krogan were proven to be completely innocent of the attack. The culprits were unknown for a long while until the discovery of the Guardian Box from Presaya's ship. It revealed that Presaya was attacked by a ship traced back to Galactus.
