Colin was a blind date set up for Bernice Blackstock by Jimmy King and Nicola King in January 2014. Originally wanting his brother, Chad, who wasn't available, Colin turned up in his place. Bernice attempted to chat to the man but was put off by his poor personal hygiene. Oblivious to this, he eventually walked out on Bernice claiming her constantly covering her nose and mouth with her hand was a sign she was insecure.
