S'hirethal Verauk was a female Acamarian serving in Starfleet in the late 24th century. In 2381, during the Borg invasion Verauk served aboard the USS Rochambeau as the first officer and was among the group of commanders who received accelerated promotions to captain to help replace the ones who were lost. She lost her husband and seven children when they were exterminated by the Borg on Acamar III.
