The 1991 Pepsi 400 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Daytona International Speedway on July 6, 1991. Bill Elliott won his only race of the year, holding off Geoffrey Bodine by two tenths of a second. The race was marred by a severe accident when Darrell Waltrip flipped several times down the backstretch, however he would escape with minor injuries.
