Imperial Griffin is an upgrade to the Griffin in the Haven town in Heroes of Might and Magic V. Imperial (or Royal) Griffins - the same Griffins clad in armor and additionally trained to fight. Royal Griffins possess the ability to "strike from the heavens"- for a while they fly out of the battlefield, and then double-damage hit to a pre-selected cell (even if an ally is in it), and then they return to a randomly chosen cell.
