The Directed High Yield Missile is designed to destroy slow moving or stationary targets that are otherwise too fortified to strike. Shaped like a tube, the DHYM's sole form of propulsion is a series of repulsorlift drives. While the DHYM boasts an already impressive airspeed, it usually travels to its target in the planet's upper atmosphere in order have gravity increase its speed even further, & more than one target has been destroyed before it knew it was under attack. While the DHYM is perfectly capable of turning heavy armoured tanks into burning piles of rubble, it is far more effective in its designed task of destroying fortified structures. The main weakness of the DHYM is that it requires a targeting lock to be provided by other sources, such as a scout on the ground, or a spacesh
