When a Lieutenant Commander disappears, a young boy contacts NCIS and begs them to help find and save his father. The team soon discover that the Commander was working on a top-secret project named "Honor" but when one of the Commander's kidnappers turns up dead, the team suspect that the victim might not have been kidnapped after all although Gibbs soon suspects otherwise.
