The Heart Of Gold is an item that Handy put into his creation Clockwork Smurf in the Smurfs cartoon show. Its first appearance was in "Return Of The Clockwork Smurf", when after King Gerard's uncle Leopold had damaged Clockwork Smurf the robot was brought into the Smurf Village for repairs. In the episode "Heart Of Gold", Gargamel replaced Clockwork's Heart Of Gold with a heart of stone, which changed Clockwork's behavior.
