Tokage no Oni was an oni of the Shadowlands, a creature which predated the existence of mankind itself, slowly accumulating power in the shadows. It could shapeshift into any human form, control the animals around itself, and had great resistance against magic. The oni eventually was exposed by Kuni Isaya, a Kuni Witch Hunter, who followed the trail of Tokage no Oni to the Nazo Mori region.
