Gerry and Jess Harding are driving to the dock. They begin to talk about a shoplifting incident when suddenly he has to brake to avoid hitting Nima who had stumbled into the road. She collapses but is still alive and needs medical attention, so they must go to the visitor center. Gerry takes Nima into the back of the jeep while Jess drives so he can check her pupils, her pulse and her wound. He attempts to treat it with an antiseptic spray but she won't allow him until he informs her that he is a doctor. When she starts to go into shock Jess must slow down so he can inject Nima with epinephrine.
