The 1st Golathion Project was a special military project put into affect a week after the Battle of Varrock. The idea was: create a battalion of supersoldiers to help in future battles. After the group was ready, the Battle of Chaos Temple had already happened. So, they were sent to fight in the Battle of the Graveyard of Shadows. After the battle, only about 100 out of the original 500 remained. After their defeat, though it was a victory to their side, they were sent to fight in the First Battle of Bone Yard Valley. There, all 100 remaining Golathions were killed-in-action.
