The Guardian of the Mountain is a person or creature seen as a heavy plate armor. He guards the stairs of the Mountain of the Region of Air. He speaks in a metallic voice, and it's not known if it's actually a man or just an animated suit of plate armor. Before allowing anyone to ascend the mountain, he poses the Ten Riddles of the Mountain. The answers to the riddles always contain the sound "air", "wind" and the like. He was encountered by Dug Mundane and Nada Naga on their way to the top of the mountain in order to help Ma Anathe.
