The Dakeen Monastery is a monastery in Dakeen on Bajor. In 2368, Kai Opaka Sulan ordered Vedek Bareil Antos to the Dakeen Monastery when Bareil told her they should help Opaka Fasil's resistance cell and also arrange an evacuation of the Kendra Valley. Opaka knew the Kendra Valley could never be evacuated in time. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Dawn of the Eagles) In 2374, Benjamin Sisko commented to Admiral William Ross that he would like to visit the Dakeen Monastery when the Dominion War was over.
