The Main Street Shooting Gallery was an attraction on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park which opened with the park in 1955 and closed in 1962. The park was one of four shooting galleries in the history of the park (the only one of which is still open is in Frontierland). The loud gunfire was out of place in the idyllic, suburban facade of Main Street, and as such the guns were replaced with tamer attractions. The Penny Arcade now occupies its former location.
