William Jackson Morton (1871 - 7 December 1939) was a dairy manager and local politician. Born in Fenton, Staffordshire, he was the son of George Morton, a plumber and glazier and his wife Amy. In 1900 he married Sarah Maude Miller in the church of St George the Martyr, Queen Square. By then he had a dairy business in Newington, and became a member of Southwark Borough Council. He lived at 34 Camberwell Road, and from 1922-34 he sat on the London County Council as a Municipal Reform Party councillor representing Camberwell North West.
