Sasha Ryalden was a female Umbaran Jedi Master who took Dell Curoon as her Padawan. She also secretly knew Jedi Jacoby, as she was his first master. No one else knew that she knew Jacoby. When she was young, she selected Jacoby as a Padawan. She took him and trained him from apprenticeship to being a Jedi Master. This allowed him to skip being a youngling in a clan. Later, she took Dell Curoon as a Padawan.
