Planet Zebes, (named 惑星ゼーベス, Planet Zebesu in Japan), is a course appearing in Super Smash Bros. This area is from the Metroid series of games. It is based off the area with the same name. This area is the home stage of Samus If Captain Falcon is about to be unlocked, he is fought in this area first. Weavers and Ridley also make a cameo occasionally in the stage. Only a single hazard is found in this stage. The hazard the yellow acid rising on the stage every thirty seconds. It never rises above the highest platform
