Nicholas II (Nicholas Étienne Louis Dubois; born January 11, 1958) is the reigning monarch of the Kingdom of the Great Lakes. Nicholas accended to the throne following the death of his mother, Ninette I on September 15, 1995. His coronation took place at the Cathedral of St. Mary in Lansing, Wayne on January 2, 1997 in front of an attendance of nearly 500 people and viewed on television by over five million. He has been married to Lucille, Countess of Mt. Pleasant since 1985 and with whom has three children: the heir apparent Nicholas, Prince of Superior, Celeste, Princess of Thunder Bay, and Pierre, Prince of Michigan.
