At the end of daily reception one day, a Mage who had red and blistered livid scars on his face appeared. He was a representative of the new Legate of Darujhistan, and he demanded Agull'en immediately swear allegiance to the Legate. Agull'en not only refused, but ordered that the Mage be flayed. He had, however, underestimated the man's powers as the Mage destroyed the Hall of ruler-ship killing everyone inside.
