Holiday Drops in RuneScape Classic were an early form of holiday events. Instead of doing a holiday-related task as it's usually the case in RuneScape 2, it would just be a drop of a special item. The tradition of holiday drops started in October 2001, with the Pumpkin drop. On Easter, Halloween and Christmas, further items like the Party Hat or Santa Hat would just appear out of nowhere in random places across RuneScape Classic.
