Frog Tongues are objects from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. There are two types of frog tongues; the smaller frog tongues require a Bottle of water or a Water Fruit to activate, and the larger frog tongue requires the Water Dragon's Basin from Faron. Link encounters the first smaller frog tongue on his way to the Fire Sanctuary through the Volcano Summit. The large frog tongue is at the entrance to the temple. Interestingly, when analyzed, Fi reveals she has little to no knowledge of them or their purpose. She does however state that they are mechanisms formed by magic.
