Blast Golem is an enemy from Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. It primarily focuses on using physical attacks, and will counter all damage on it with a physical attack. In addition, it can attack using the powerful Lightning ability, dealing significant Lightning-elemental damage to the party. If the fight drags on too long, it will use Meltdown to kill itself and deal damage in proportion to its HP to the party. Therefore, it is highly recommended to whittle its HP down as quickly as possible.
