Danbo Momochi, also known as Sandayū Momochi, was a historical person, and one Iga "of the three major jōninista " (jap.三大上忍). His family dominated southern Iga. In 1579 Nobukatsu Oda and Koga Ninjas attacked Iga to Danbo led the fight against them. Iga won the battle.
