The Green Party (Gröni Partii) is a political party in Thorway. It was formed in 1989 by Kristoffer Whorm and was first elected for paliament in 1995. The party places a high importance on ecological and environmental goals. The party currently has 11 seats in parliamen, and is a part of the governing Green Alliance.
