Commissioned in August of 3005, the VRM Artemis was completed by Vroom! in October of the same year. The Artemis saw its first outsystem flight during the serial killings reported on Tomin Kora in connection with the arrival of the new Pirate King. On October 11, 3005, the ship formally entered service for the Athena Exploration Service under Captain John Wiendrbac. The purposes of the midsize freighter, as stated by an AES spokesman, are simple transport and cargo hauling. The ship appears to be lightly armed and is painted forest green with silver highlights and gold lettering.
