Dapyx was a chieftain of the Getae during 1st-Century BC located in Scythia Minor which is now modern-day Dobruja. Cassius Dio is one of the people who mentioned him in Roman History about campaigns of Marcus Licinius Crassus located in the Lower Danube Region and said to be a king of the region of central Scythia Minor and he supposedly went to war with Rholes who was a Roman ally. Crassus decided to come into Rholes' help and eventually, defeated Dapyx's army and the king took refuge in a fort and was later betrayed then killed.
