The Sacking of Coruscant was a large battle between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire, and was the last battle of the Great Galactic War. It started when a shuttle of Sith attacked the Jedi Temple, and while all the Jedi fought at the Temple, armies of other Sith and Sith troopers attacked the cityscape, and killed most of the Republic troops and Jedi. The Republic was forced to sign a peace treaty between the two.
