A Group Hatch is an event in which two or more people hatch their virtual pets at the same time. Generally, all the pets hatched during a group hatch are of the same version or region (US, Australian, Asian, ect.) Group hatches may occur online, in forums or live chatrooms, or in face-to-face, real-life events. Group hatchers in internet forums are often encouraged to post updates as to the evolution and progress of their tamagotchi.
