After being transported from an area in 1861 from a failed assassination attempt against Abraham Lincoln with the previous episode, Tony Newman and Doug Phillips remain in the South, being transported a few decades earlier, right before the final battle of the Alamo in Texas, where everyone at the fort will be massacred within several hours. Phillips and Newman separate, as Phillips was hit in the head by a Mexican soldier and Newman jumps a wall and runs for help after being given word of a sympathetic Mexican doctor, as the Alamo is out of medical supplies/personnel.
