Stu Boombird appears in the third season Dinosaurs episode "Network Genius." A high-ranking television executive with the Antediluvian Broadcasting Company, Boombird struggles to program the new season with colleague Ted Hardshell. Stressed out by his job, Boombird prevents heart attacks by periodic shocks with defibrillator paddles. After the failure of the new season, one year later, Boombird and Hardshell appoint Earl Sinclair as new VP. Boombird eagerly accepts Earl's ideas as the voice of the viewer, but later copes with the audience becoming too smart for TV.
