The Lightwind Orphanage was a childcare institution in Bestine, the capital of the Outer Rim planet Tatooine. In 1 ABY the orphanage received a generous donation of one million credits from local politician Victor Visalis. With this donation, the orphanage was able to provide the children with toys, upgrades in beds, new clothes and other things. It was also used to repair the orphanage building. Other donators included N'cor Silver (100 credits), T'liha i'Ora (50 credits), Jiloa Frost (1,000 credits), Kliyna Furthen (2,000 credits) and Mlinoa Blue (150 credits).
