Haend, literally "fire ball" in Gand, was the sentient meteorite in the Galdar system. When the Gand first discovered it, it was not extinct, and spewed endless flames at the Gand ships and cruisers. They naturally left the system and returned to their planets, later forming an alliance with the New Rebels. They were able to conquer it, not without opposition, and its two largest planets: Metano III and IV.
