HMS Talon was a destroyer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Commanded by Commander Frank Ukhtomskoy, the ship was part of the Tenth Fleet when it invaded the Meyers System in mid-1922 PD. It remained at a distance of about 200 million kilometers from the system primary, until it received an update on enemy movements and target assignments for the interception units that were supposed to capture all fleeing vessels. The ship then jumped into hyperspace and delivered its message to Admiral Oversteegen's waiting forces.(HH14)
