Gonville House was a 15 storey tower block on Dove Way in Chelmsley Wood, Solihull. The block was approved for construction as part of the Tamar Drive plans of the Chelmsley Wood estate in 1967. It was completed in 1969 by Bryant using the Bison construction method. It contained 60 flats and stands next to Girton House. They were both demolished in 2012, but before doing so were set on fire by the fire brigade so they could carry out real-life practice of dealing with a fire in a tower block.
