The HAVr A9 "Floating Fortresses" used by Wayland's Warhammer were among the group's most thoroughly rebuilt vehicles. In addition to the HoloComm transceiver, shield generator, and improved engines, weapon systems and armor that had become standard equipment, each vehicle had major work done to its basic frame, adding a full 5 meters to their length and reducing the space allotted to cargo capacity in order to greatly increase the number of troops that could be carried aboard each unit. The craft's flight ceiling was also increased dramatically.
