Haakona (Haakona Prime) was a planet located near the border of the Romulan Star Empire, opposite from the side containing Earth and the Coalition of Planets. At some time point before 2156, Praetor D'deridex's father, who had also been Praetor, had invaded and occupied Haakona. This invasion ended in failure and many lives were lost in the battle for Haakona.
