The Windrider Bell is necessary for this quest. You need to gather the Golden Egg, Black Diamond, Golden Crab, and Cloud Boar. The first three are found in previously inaccessible western areas of the Windy Plains, Scarlet Pillars and Sacred Mountains due to the currents that would push your skyship away. The last is found on the other side of the Golden Deer Keep, just outside the Hall of Darkness.
