The 2002 Food City 500 was a Winston Cup (now Nextel Cup) event held at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 24, 2002. With a little bump Kurt Busch moved Jimmy Spencer out of the way and held Spencer at bay for Busch's first career victory. The bump-and-run started a long Spencer-Busch feud. Sterling Marlin finished 19th and held a 99-point championship lead on Matt Kenseth (6th). Stats
