Andrea Garnett is the Executive Officer and former Chief Engineer of the USS Nathan James. In the Season 1 episode "Welcome to Gitmo," she is temporarily incapacitated after suffering a shrapnel wound from an Al-Qaeda rocket-propelled grenade. Garnett is one of the six people exposed to the Red Flu during the human trials of the vaccine conducted by Dr.Scott. LCDR Garnett is one of the key players in helping to regain control of the Nathan James from Amy Granderson's state troopers in the Season 2 episode "Fight the Ship."
